History
The beginnings of Osvetleni Cernoch's history date back to 1984, when I received permission from the National Committee to provide full-time services. At the beginning of 1990, I acquired my first production building in Prague_Dubč and hired my first employees. In 2004 we moved to a new production hall in Prague - 9 Kolodějích, and in 2020 we added a second production hall which helped us to expand our production and storage capabilities. Over the years, we have invented and produced hundreds of different luminaires and, most importantly, helped many of our customers. Regarding company development, establishing cooperation with foreign companies (Rimsa, Elspro, Osram) was very important for us.
Production
As we consider production quality a top priority, we did not want to be just a parts assembly plant but always tried to have the whole chain of activities under our control as far as possible. It's not exactly a modern approach, but it has worked well for production quality at our scale. That's why you'll find developments from electronics to optics to mechanical engineering with us; we design our molds, make them ourselves and then manufacture the luminaire parts from them in our molding plant. We are equipped with conventional and CNC machine tools and measuring and inspection equipment, but most importantly, we have a close-knit group of experienced staff, some of whom have been with us for over 25 years.
